San Francisco, California

I arrived thirty minutes early to the parking lot I had found on Google Maps to make sure I wasn’t sending Kaci & Tyler to a terrible location for their engagement shoot. Needless to say, this trail did not disappoint!

Tucked away across the Golden Gate Bridge, we had Mount Tam’s rolling hills all to ourselves. Within a half-mile hike from our car, we had skyline views of San Francisco to our left and an expansive view of the Bay to our right all while nuzzled in between hills. I love when hours of online location scouting pays off!

We spent their playful engagement chasing the sunset blindly around each nook only to find an even better view after each turn. We stayed out battling San Francisco’s wind until the fog swept over the landscape and left us surrounded in a blanket of white.

If the sun didn’t set and Kaci’s hair wasn’t tangled from the wind, I think we were ready to stay out here overlooking San Francisco all night. I can’t wait to shoot Kaci’s infectious laughter and Tyler’s playful attitude at their wedding in Northern California this year!
